Review Of PokerStars

PokerStars Review
PokerStars is another large online poker room. PokerStars is regarded by many as the biggest in the world, especially when you count player traffic (averages over 170,000 per day). PokerStars is host to some of the most popular high stakes STTs and MTTs. In addition, PokerStars has lots of poker players at its cash tables. PokerStars really is not that old of an online poker room. In fact, PokerStars first went online in 2001. However, PokerStars made a huge impact on poker players when Chris Moneymaker and Greg Raymer scored back-to-back main event victories in the WSOP. Around the same time period, the online poker popularity explosion followed and scores of poker players rushed to PokerStars to possibly become the next in line for a WSOP championship.
PokerStars is a very popular poker room, thus, you will find competition at any stakes and any poker variant you desire to play. This also means that you will also find poker players running a wide spectrum ability-wise. This is a dis-advantage. However, it also means that if you are a reasonable poker player that you will probably be able to squeeze some juice out of PokerStars’ tables
PokerStars is by far the biggest online poker room. PokerStars has blown away all of its competition to become the biggest, and I think best poker site around (you can always find a game).
PokerStars has great poker software. In fact, I would say that PokerStars' software is in the top 3 when it comes to their online poker software. I would be willing to say that the poker software is the best. PokerStars has a download version of PokerStars for Mac, but they do not have a no download verion of their software.
The software for PokerStars since its launched has been very stable of any poker site. Even with the large amount of traffic in addition to routinely holding tournaments with several thousand players, I have never personally experienced any lag or hiccups while playing.
PokerStars in the past had lots of savvy opponents who took the game of poker very seriously. However, with the explosive growth of poker players flooding to PokerStars now, there are many soft games to be found as fish of all kinds have been signing up to play at PokerStars in recent years. With this trend continuing, I only see PokerStars as one of the best places to find easy competition.
PokerStars offers the best online poker tournaments. PokerStars has hundreds of tournaments that are held each day, with a wide variety of buy-ins and game types.
PokerStars has tons of premier events and guaranteed tournaments held every day including the World Championship of Online Poker, the Sunday $1 million guarantee, weekly $750,000 guarantee, and daily $100,000 guarantee.
In addition, PokerStars also has the most sit and go tournaments every day. You can find dozens running at any given time at any given buy-in.
PokerStars now offers a huge sign up bonus to a 100% up to $600 match! This was not the case in the past. In fact, when I signed up the deposit bonus was only $50.
PokerStars does offer fantastic player rewards such as Frequent Player Points (FPPs) when you play in ring games or tournaments that you can use to purchase all kinds of cool stuff from the PokerStars VIP store.
PokerStars does take the financial security of players very seriously. I have never heard of anyone having a bad experience or feeling wronged by PokerStars.
Although, PokerStars takes all kinds of payment methods, the most popular is their E-Check service. Especially, popular among U. S. players. All you do is fill out a virtual check online and you are instantly transferred the amount of the check.
Finally, PokerStars has top quality customer service as well as offering 24/7 phone and email support. You will not find this with too many online poker sites. In addition, you can call them at any time.
